MUHAMMAD AKMAL BIN ISHAK

Hello,my name is Muhammad  Akmal Bin Ishak my nickname is Akmal .I was born on September 30 1997 in Hospital Yan,Kedah Darul Aman.Now I study at Institut Kemahiran MARA Beseri,Perlis(IKM Beseri).Course that I take in IKM beseri is Diploma Technology In Automotive(DGA).I like to playing video games  in pc either smartphone.I will refill my free time either playing video games or spending my times with my lovely family.I am quite talkative person but my words always make my freinds or family happy.Thats a bit much about my self.I hope you will enjoy reading my blogger.

In this semester of DGA,the management of IKM Beseri receive 8 student including me.On english subject we were guided by Puan Norsyazia Binti Mohd Radzi and her nickname is Puan GG.She have teach us alot of things things,example how to speek with strangger effectively.On this semester we have 5 topics,below are the explanation of the topics.

UNIT 1

The first topics Puan GG teach us to speak about my self in front of my friends,for me it isnt a problem because I am a talkative person.She did that for knowing the background of my friends.

The next subtopics she teach us is Sharing Personal Information.At first I dont  know how to do because that time,I dont knowing full well about him named Muhammad Izzudin Bin Mohd Saadon.So that time I take more time to know him to complete the task were given by her.The picture below were the task given by her.

The second topics is Describing Feelings and Opinions.Puan GG ask us to tell everyone in the class abaout what we like to do and why.In addition we have to response on time.

After that,we were given topics to make interview with teachers on IKM.Puan GG divided us into 3 group,each group has 3 members.My team is NOR ASYRAF ADLY BIN IBRAHIM,MOHAMMAD HANIF BIN MOHAMAD.We have interviewed by Sir Ku Madzly (L.I Officer).He decided to interview us on Thursday at recess time. At first I quite nervous because I am the first one got interviewed on my team.After a short dialog with him,I fell better because he was a sporting and talkative person.In that interviewed he ask me have a girlfriend or not.Hahaha,my answer is yes and he ask me my girlfriends in IKM BESERI?.For me it is question cute and make laugh.In that short time I sure he is a kind person even outside look decisive.My english isnt bad said him to me,but I must improve my speaking.He also gave some motivation words because we the first batch of Diploma in the IKM.

The conclusion for this topics is we have learned how to speak infront of people and be brave.

UNIT 2

In this unit,we learned about Speaking Accurately.We learned new this such as Diphtongs,Monophtongs,silent letter and word stress.This topics is to tell us how to pronounce english in the best way.We also been refreshed about grammar,vocubalary and so on about how to pronounce english.thats why the topics is Speaking Accurately.

Puan GG tell us diphtong also known as a gliding vowel,refers to two adjacent owel sounds occurung within the same syllable.Example of diphtongs are  -ou-/-oi-/au-/ei-/-ai-.Below are the more example.

Monophtongs is a  pure vowel sound,one whose articulation at both begining and end is relatively fixed and which does not glide up or down towards a new position of articulation.

Next is silent letters,silent letters are the letters that you cant hear when you say the words but when you write,there is the words that you saids just now.Example knife,comb,knee and many more.

Word stress is your magic key to understanding spoke n English.Native speakers of english use words stress naturally.

The conclusion for this Unit is we were teach to speak accurately and we manage to do it.

UNIT 3

 In the first topics,Puan GG suggest us to have a debate among us.After a minutes discusion we agree to have a debate,teachers devided us into group,my teamates is Izzudin and Hanif.Puan GG make a draw because we have 3group.My team have to face the team that won the first debate.My team have to face Hazim team on the next week after the first debate.For me win or lose isnt important because I already know we have to face strong group,In addition I already know that my teamates are week in the speaking so its up to me to speak more in the debate.And for sure the result of that competition is we lose.Debate is the formal method of presenting the agrument in the correct way or disciplined.

Next,Puan GG teach us about speaking extempore.Extemporaneuous speaking is more like speaking to the cloud.On this topics,Puan GG divided us into 4 group,my partner is Izzudin,all 4 group discuss what we have to present in front of  class that we will enter.After a long night discussion wth my partner,we decided to sing a song,but there is a problem because we doesnt have guitar.But we never give up,we went back to Izzudin's house to pick up his guitar.Only one night we practise with guitar but our presentation isn't bad at all.At the end of the show,I ask for any comment,who comment our presentation will be some gift but only one person comment.The goals is to see how we communicate with the teahers to ask permission before enter the class and speak with the people in the class before go on with the presentation.At first we quite nervous but its gone after we did well in the presentation.

UNIT 4

We learned about apologizing,asking clarification,and giving a description.Puan GG gives us some sheet.In the sheet there is some example of apologizing sentence,asking clarificaation and giving discription.

In apologizing,we have to write a letter to apologize,that latter must be submit to my friends.

In asking clarification we have a short dialog bettew us to practise asking clarification.Example: Can you repeate what you said,sorry I was playing smartphone just now.

We also learn about giving discription.Puan GG gives each of us 3 different coloured paper,In that paper,Puan GG has wrote some instruction how to draw our wanted person.

UNIT 5

STORY ABOUT BOOK/MOVIE

Last monday,my partner Izzudin and I have to speak in  front of Puan GG and  Puan GG.We chose POLIS EVO and SHAMAN KING(cartoon) as the topis to make synopsis.We took a night to finish the synopsis.When we read the synopsis Puan GG gives mark to us.The class on that day is the last class on first semester of Diploma of Automotive.Thanks cause spent your time read my blogger.Bye
