     Hello,my name is Mohammad Hanif Bin Mohamad Kamal.I am 18 years old.I live at Kampung Semadong,at Beseri,Perlis.My nickname is Anip.I was born at Hospital Tuanku Fauziah,Kangar,Perlis.I was studied in secondary school at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Abi at Kangar,Perlis.I studied there since years 2010 until 2012.After that,I continued my study at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Beseri,Perlis in 2013 until 2014.Now,I am studying at IKM Beseri in Diploma of Automotive Technology.The diploma course is the new programme at IKM Beseri.There are eight student in my course including me.We are the first batch in Diploma Of Automotive Technology.So,we have to show the commitment and good attitude to be role model for next batch of our course.In addition,my hobby is playing football and surfing internet during my free time.My ambition is to be Automotive Technician.I hope you are enjoy reading my blog.......

#The first unit that i learn in the class is speaking about myself.This topic divided into three main point.First,i have to make introduction.I have to speak in front of the class about myself such as my name,my origin state,my age,my hobby,my ambition and many more.I was very shy because i have to speak in front of my new friend.                                                                                                                                              

#The second topic is sharing personal information.For this topic,Pn GG give me a task.I have to find a partner and share my personal information with my partner.My partner is AFIQ NUZAIM.I have to ask him about his favourite sport,movie,music,hobby and others.All the information were written in the paper that have given by Pn GG.After the discussion have finish,we have to present all the information in front of the class.When I talked in front of the class,I was very shy and speechless but after several minutes the shy is gone.When the presentation over, I was very relieved and happy because I get closer with my partner and all my classmates.

#The last topic that I have learnt in UNIT 1 is describe feeling and opinion.For this topic,Pn GG have given the picture of two actress.And we have to choose one of the picture and tell the feeling and thing that I like about her.

#After learnt all the topics,Pn GG give us an assignment to do.We have to speak with strangers.Pn GG have choosen the lecturers that we have speak to.We have divided into three groups.Each group have three members.NOR ASHRAF ADLY,MOHAMMAD IKMAL AND I were combine into one group.Each of us have to meet and have a chat with SIR KU MAZLY.He is the L.I OFFICER in IKM BESERI.He is very funny but I lose my words when I talk to him.He order me to ask 5 questions to him before I get out of his office.The funny question that I have ask him is I ask name of his wife.Everybody in the office laughed including me.After complete the task, we have taking picture with SIR KU MAZLY.We were very happy after complete the task.

#For this unit,I have learnt about speaking accurately.I learn about diphthongs,monophthong,silent letters and  word stress.For this unit, I have learn how to speak English in different way and sounds.Pn GG want us to speak English in  correct vocabulary,grammer and many else.

#The first lesson that we have learnt with Pn GG in this unit is pronouncing dipthongs accurately.Dipthong is known as the gliding vowel,refers for two adjacent vowel sounds occuring within the same syllable.There are five sounds of dipthongs such as [ou],[oi],[ai],[ei] and [au].                                                                              

    >The example of [ou] are bone,old,boot and grow.
    >The example of [oi] are boy,oil,boil and toy.
    >The example of [ai] are buy,bite,dine and pint.
    >The example  of [ei] are bait,great, tame and maize.
    >The example of [au] are bough,owl,bout and pound.        

#Next I learn about monophthong.Monophthong is a pure vowel sound, one whose articulation a both beginning and end is relatively fixed and which does not glide up or down towards a new position af articulation.The example of monophthong are [yu;],[ar],[a],[e] and [o].

 #The next topic is working with silent letters.Silent letters are letters that you cannot hear when  the word is spoken but that are there when you write the word.The spelling tell us how the word used to be pronounced;eg in medieval times,people used to sound out the letter [k] in the word KNOCK.

#Next we learn about word stress.Word stress is the way to understand english accurately.Original speakers use word stress naturally.

#The conclusion of this unit is I can speak English in different ways.I also master the dipthong,monopthong,silent letters and word stress.

#For unit 3,I learn about Practice in Public Speaking.The first sub topic is Practising the Language of Debate.Debate is such argument,strife and controversy,especially  formal discussion of subject before public assembly.The assemblyman in Parliament also give their opinion and dissatisfaction with debate.

#The next topic is speaking extempore.Speaking extempore is like a public speaking.We were divided into four groups.Each group has two members.I was team up with Imran.He show his dedicated in doing team discussion.We have to go into a class to do a speaking.Before the presentation begin,we had a team discussion to plan the activities and also practising our English language that not well.The objective of this task is to build believe between our partner and ensure we can speak English in front of people clearly.Me and Imran planning to do sports but we change it with unique indoor games because we consider the unique indoor games is  interesting.

#When the presentation day came,it became a very nervous moment on each of us.We are the last team to do a presentation .The other groups have already done their presentation in semester 1 class.Unfortunately,we have to do the presentation in semester 4 class.It was a bad moment for us.But we manage to get rid of our fright.So, we enter the class,I truly very nervous same as Imran but we follow our plan and did it fine.We were very happy and relieved after we finally done the presentation.

#For unit 4 I learn about Social Communication: Performing Language Functions.This unit contains three subtopic.The topic are apologizing,asking for clarifications and giving a description.

#The first topic is apologizing.For this topic,we learn about how to apologize in a correct way  and the suitable situation.There are many expressions that can be use when we want to apologize with other people.The example of expression that can be use such as( "Sorry,that was my fault")


#The second topic is asking for clarification.Asking for clarification is a clarification using an expression when we don't understand what someone has said. There are many expression that we can use for this subtopic.It not just about asking for clarification,we can use on clarification on your idea or your point.


#The last topic of unit 4 is about giving a description.This topic is simple and also funny moment in it.Giving a description is when you want to describe a person using all the information that you got.Teacher give us the activity to do.We have to draw a picture with the guided that have given by teacher.I need to draw a picture with star shape eyes,round nose and short wavy hair.It was a funny moment when the drawing is done.

UNIT 5

Novel synopsis  presentation

# And the last topic is speaking across the curriculum. In this unit, we only have one subtopic that is reporting in the class room. we were given a task to do that is to find and write a synopsis of a book but teacher simplify us we can choose a movie. 

#For this unit,teacher divided us into four group and each team has two member. I was partner with Mohd    Hazim Hilmi. We decided  to write a synopsis about The story about Harry Potter And The Sorcerers Stone. To find the synopsis,we use google as our reference. And then we just have to  write in a piece of paper.

#After that,we have to do a presentation about the story.Unfortunately,for the presentation day Hazim cannot attend because he has to attend a camp.So we have to do a presentation the other day.Two days later,Hazim came back and we go to teachers room to meet Pn GG and do a presentation.The presentation go clearly and we so happy because have completed the task.


#After finish our presentation, so English class was over. We all feel sad but also feel very happy about it. As a memories,we all take the picture with Pn GG. The following picture is our class member of English except Hazim because he had attend a camp and will back in Tuesday.And also Fizi that have be a photographer.

NOR ASYRAF ADLY BIN IBRAHIM

Hello, My name is Nor Asyraf Adly Bin Ibrahim. You can call me Asyraf. I was born on January 18, 1997, in Klang, Selangor. I was studying in Institut Kemahiran Mara Beseri, Perlis ( IKM Beseri ). Course I take in IKM Beseri is Diploma of Technology Automotive. I like listening to music but I really love eating. I like sports among these are jogging because it is good exercise and keep me fresh and healthy. Many people think I'm quiet and shy, but I'm the total opposite once you have figured out my real personality. I hope you are enjoy reading my blogger. :)

In this semester, we were guided by one of the lecturers were are friendly and cute. She is Puan Norsyazia Binti Mohd Radzi and we call it a glamorous of Puan GG. She teach us how to communicate with each other and help to improve the ability to speak english effectively and with confidence. She's so hard to help us communicate in english very well and our stubbornness treat the patient while in the class.

UNIT 1

The first title that she teaches us is Speaking About Myself. In this title, she wants us all to know the background of each other by making introductions in the form of dialogue. Beside that, she wanted us to share a little bit about ourselves to classmates. 

Next topic she teach us is Sharing Personal Information. At first, it was weird for me want I heard that teacher want to teach us about this title. Eventually, we understand about this topic and it take as a little bit of time. Teacher ask us to do a task by group. So, I was team up with my friend, that's Muhammad Hanafizi. After we the discuss about this topic, my friend and I decided to do like on picture 1.0.

After this topic, we learn about Describing Feelings and Opinion. So, teacher ask us to give our opinion and feeling about yourself. That's all I can tell because I forgot a little bit about this topic but I did not mean to forget it.

After we learn all about unit 1, we have to do an assignment that was give by our beloved teacher. This assignment need us to do in individual but before that we are divided into three group with three different interviewer. So I was in a group with Hanif and Akmal. We got our self a honest and spotting person that's Sir Ku Madzly ( as a L.I. officer ) 

Sir Ku Madzly deside to do on Thursday and he ask us to came went recess. So went recess we can to his office to do our interview with him. So each of us will enter his office by one person only. For my turn I was the last of my group to do the interview. When I enter his office I was very nervous, blur and scare. So I do my best of my best and the best of it. Each time his ask me a question it was so hard for me to answer it. Not because I cannot answer it, it because I didn't usually talk in English. So Sir ku Madzly push me hard until I became so blur and cannot thing of anything else. So want the interview end, it was very relieved for me. The following picture was taken after we complete our assignment with Sir Ku Madzly.

UNIT 2

For this unit, we learn about Speaking Accurately. In this unit, we will learn about Diphthongs, Monophthong, silent letter and word stress. This unit is all about pronouncing english word in a right way. Also using english in various communication situation, both formal and informal. Beside that, the vocabulary, grammar and many else are also learn in this topic. That why it is call speaking english Accurately.

So the teacher explain to us about Pronouncing Diphthongs Accurately. The meaning of Diphthongs is glinding vowel, refers to two adjacent vowel sounds occuring within the same syllable.There are five vowel sound of diphthongs such as -ou- / -oi- / -au- / -ei- / -ai-. 

Beside that, teacher also teach us about Monophthongs. Monophthongs is almost the same as Diphthongs. The different between Monophthongs and Diphthongs is the glinding vowel. Monophthongs only have one sound while Diphthongs has two sound.

Monophthongs is a one tone and one mouth vowel. There are sum example of Monophthongs such as -yu:- / -ar- / -o:- / -u- and many else. This are example picture for Diphthongs and Monophthongs.

Beside that, teacher also teach us about Silent Letters. Silent letters are letters that can't be heard when the word is spoken. There are silent letters in some English words because over hundreds of years we've changed how we pronounce those words but kept the old spelling. The spelling tells us how the word used to be pronounced: eg in medieval times, people used to sound out the letter k in the word knock.

And the last topic in this unit is Learning Word Stress. Teacher teach us about word stress in many way but I prefer went she teach us using a song. The following picture is a lyric song that we sing in the class to find the word stress that was hidden in the lyric.

UNIT 3

In this unit, the teacher teach us about the Practice in Public Speaking. The first topic that the teacher teach us in this unit is Practicing the Language of Debate. Debate is a formal contest of argumentation between two teams or individuals. More broadly, and more importantly, debate is an essential tool for developing and maintaining democracy and open societies. More than a mere verbal or performance skill, debate embodies the ideals of reasoned argument, tolerance for divergent points of iew and rigorous self-examination. Debate is, above all, a way for those who hold opposing views to discuss controversial issues without descending to insult, emotional appeals or personal bias. 

    After we learn about debate teacher give us a task. The nine of us need to divide into three groups and each group has three member only. Hanafizi, Afiq and I make into one group for this debate. Next, teacher deside for us to face with another team that is Hazim, Imran and Helmi as our opponent in this debate. So in that time, we have to deside with the other team on what title of debate. Teacher give us one week to get ready before the debate. We are take easy of the debate. So we didn't prepare for it properly. So the day has came for us to debate. Teacher call both team to came in front of the class to debate. So both team came in front to debate. When the debate start,we try our best to debate with them but the other team prepare so well than us. So we loose badly. I fell sad because we didn't prepare very well for the debate. The other team move on to the next round. Overall,its a good fight between the both team,a fair fight and honestly the win is always for them,not us because their prepare very well for the debate. Next, teacher teach us about Speaking Extempore or Impromptu. Speaking Extempore is that we speak in front of people and more likely as public speaking. Speaking extempore is what we learn in this topic. Teacher teach us or in other word train us to speak in front of people. After we learn about speaking extempore,we were given an assignment by Pn GG. This assignment is  in individually. When i heard individually, in my mind i think that i'm dead for sure but luckily teacher simplify for us to by pair or group that have two member in each group. So my partner is Muhd Hanafizi Bin Kamarulzaman. He is a hardworking and dedicated person but in English, he and i are both the same because both of us really not good speaking in English. We tried our best for this assignment even do we didn't prepare for it. 

After finishing assemble the group, each team must think of a tittle that their gonna do on their presentation about speaking extempore. We really don't know what to think or what to do but after finish discuss with the teacher, we will do our presentation about Test of Courage. Test of courage is all about courage. we will do by bringing two box of mystery in it that a person need to find a ball in the mystery box.. So, the day has come for all of us to do our speaking extempore by class, we were the first team to present and luckily we got the same automotive program. Before starting the presentation,we both fell very nervous and not confident to do the presentation but with the support from our friend and teacher, we go in and do what we plan. When our presentation start, there many joyful, fun and laugh moment in it. After finish the presentation,it was a relieve moment for all of us especially for the both of us.

UNIT 4

In this unit, teacher teach us about Social Communication: Performing Language Functions. For this unit, I'm absent the day went teacher teach us about topic. But I will tell you a little that I know about this topic.

 The first subtopic in this topic is Apologizing. We learn ways how to apologize to someone through conversation with a good and confident. Many ways to apologize to someone is we do anything wrong.

      

Example For Apologizing.

Next, we learn about Asking for Clarification. Asking for Clarification is important in many situations especially when what is being communicated is diffucult in some way. In communication, clarification involves offering back to the speaker the essential meaning, as understood by the listener, of what they have just said. Thereby checking that the listener's understanding is correct and resolving any areas of confusion or misunderstanding. This are an example in picture.

Also for this topic, I do it late then the others because I absent the other day. So for me, this topic is all about describing person with all the information that I get from everybody to describe a person. So I'm lucky because my friend Imran Fahmi still has the information that teacher give on the class to describe a person.

Then, the information that I got from my friend such as panda nose and lips, 2 sided long pony tails with fringe hair and also have oval eyebrows with cone eyes. So I start to describe that person by drawing in a piece of  paper using the information that I have. After finish my drawing, it feel a little bit weird because of my drawing so funny like me. You want see my drawing, you can look it at the following picture.

UNIT 5

The last title in this unit is Speaking across the Curriculum. For this unit, there is only one topic and that's Reporting in the classroom. At first, teacher give us to find material in a story book but after discussion with all of us teacher give looseness to find the material in a movie.

For this task, we were divided into four groups. I was partner with Muhd Imran Fahmi Bin Ghazali. So we choose material from a story book titled Journey to The Center of The Earth. We were get this book synopsis through google. 

Then, awaited day has arrived for last presentation with teacher for this semester,we were the first team to present in front of the class. We didn't expect that we are the first one to present but teacher just decide randomly. Never mine with that, we came in front of the class and present about The Journey To The Center Of Earth.  We use a different method than the others. Example i was reading the synopsis while my partner write in the white about the main story such as main character,the fact about the story and other else. This picture is an example like i say earlier while the other picture is when we do our presentation about The Journey To The Center Of The Earth in front of the class.

So after finish our presentation,we take picture with teacher as a wonderful memory with the teacher.

My hope after Learning all this topic is that I can Improve my English language into a better level then before. Beside that, I hope that I can speak English very smooth in the future. Lastly, I hope that I can speak in front of people with confident and cool.

My hope after Learning English is to be a better man in speaking English.

MOHAMMAD HANAFIZI BIN KAMARULZAMAN

           Hye!!!. My name is  Mohammad Hanafizi Bin Kamarulzaman. I was born in Kajang Selangor. I am 18 year old. My nickname is MR.Bulu. I studied at the IKM BESERI PERLIS in DIPLOMA OF TECHNOLOGI AUTOMOTIVE. I am first batch of 2015. My secondary school is Sekolah Kebangsaan Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Kajang Selangor. My hobby like fishing with my dad and my friends at Kemaman Terengganu. My dream is i want to be a successfull mechanic in the future. I have a happy family. I am grateful to ALLAH for my life complete with the presence of people who are called father, mother, brother, and sister that make up my family. The father and mother are the people who i love and respect the most sddmy life. although sometimes i fail to follow their orders and make mistake, they still loved me and encouraged me and always expact the best for me. In addition, i was a high-confidence. i am sure that i will do my best in whatever task being performed if implemented by hard work. In addition, prayer also becomes a success factor. Therefore, we make every effort should be punctuated with prayer and commitment are high.

Pn Norsyazia Binti Mohd Radzi or everybody call Pn GG is teaching us english (Communicative English 1 ). She has taught us english. she is the best teacher that much knowledge of the language in english. She has also taught us that we know how to speak english perfectly.

UNIT 1:


         The first lesson that i learned is making introduction. She want us to talk with confidence to interact with each other. In addition, we also have an indentity that was created by our teacher. She asked each one of us to comes forward to make our introduction in the classroom.

        Teacher ask us to do some work. Teacher need us to split into five group. Each team has two member only. My partner is NOR ASYRAF ADLY BIN IBRAHIM.Teacher have given each a piece of paper to fill in those details for us to share with our follow teammates. the following picture 1 After teacher have giving the piece of paper, we discuss about the task. We share our personal information to each other.          The third topic is Describing Feelings and Opinions. My teacher would tell us to tell everyone in the class what we like to don and why. In addition, we will ask for responses on time. 

After that, we were given a topic to make interview between teacher in this IKM BESERI. Therefore, we will be divided into 4 group. 4 group was also there 3 people. It more like an interview. So my team member is MOHD IZZUDDIN BIN SAADON, MOHD HAZIM BIN MOHD HELMI. So we got ourself a very good and kind person that is PN.SALMAH.( ENGLISH TEACHER IKM BESERI PERLIS) In the morning, three of us went to Pengajian Am for an interview between Pn.Salmah. The three of us feel anxious and afraid because it was never for this interview. Pn.Salmah is the best gynecological and concered abaout the three of us. Pn.Salmah very serious makes us feel afraid to interview with him. So we interview in Her office. So i was the first person to interview with her. At first i was confident and relax but when i face to face with her all my confident and relex gonea far away. But i still do my best to complete the interview whetever is ok or do not ok. UNIT2:

                So, for conclusion for unit 2 is that we manage to speak Diphthongs, Monothong, silent letter and word stress. We learn to speak Accurately with using a correct vocabulary, grammar and many else.


UNIT3:

                 We have learned abaout the practice in public speaking. Practice the languange of debate is one way to interact between multiple parties. This debate is also one way to argurment contention, strife, quarrels, disputes, controversies, particularly in formal discussions about the subject before a public assembly or legislature. In parliament or in any ordinary gathering. Debate is the formal method of presenting the argument in the correct way or disciplined.                   Next, our teacher taught us speaking extempore/impromptu. Extemporaneuous speaking is more like speaking to the cloud. We have to go by class to class with different group to make a different presentation. At first, this is an individual task but our teacher will make it easier for us to do a lot of two. So there are four teams. I was a team with Nor Asyraf Adly and Muhd Afiq Nurzaim. I'm not sure or did not dare to speak for fear of uttering the words english. The main terget of thne teacher is that we can talk in front of people. Who was interation with the audience and the audience enjoy our performances. Therefore, we both will focus on doing at first but when we talked to teacher, our performence did not have many ideas for this show. Then, we talked back and change pur mind to do indoor game because all these elements have in it.
                   When the day comes to us all to be present in different classes. He become very afraid at every moment of the team and everyone. We are the first team to make a prensentation in class one semester automotif certificate. Therefore, when we asked for some time for five minutes to let in the classroom and let it give us permission to login to make perensentation in front. I was very nervous with my patner who is twince equivalent of me but according to our plans and do it well. For me the show we both can be very fun between sir and students in the class. They like to show us this. Each winner will be awarded a prize from our group. Lastly, we have to thank the sir and students in the class as an opportunity to make this an entertaining activity.

               We learned about apologizing, asking for clarification, and giving a description. We have learned to all four titles this unit with our own teacher. This morning we have a presentation about the movie story. Movie story we tell about Johnny English Reborn. We made a presentation in class with friends and teacher. We have three groups that make this presentation. Name my group Mohd Helmi. Each group will tell a story that was discussed.
